Djokovic & Federer Post Their Wins At Rogers Cup While Nadal Loses
World no. 1, Novak Djokovic defeated Russian Nikolay Davydenko 7-5, 6-1 while earlier, Roger Federer defeated Vasek Pospisil of Canada 7-5, 6-3.
Djokovic is in near invincible form this season winning eight titles, and appeared suddenly vulnerable after a four week holiday, as the 30th ranked Russian recorded two early breaks to grab a 4-1 lead on the sluggish Serb.
The No. 3-ranked Swiss won the Rogers Cup in 2004 and 2006 and was the runner-up in 2007 and 2010.
