Omega-3 Fatty Acids In Fish, Good For Diabetics
Diabetics are six times more likely to suffer a first heart attack and three to eight times more likely to die for heart disease than those without the disease.
That is why management of disease is not only focusing the aspect of controlling the glucose and insulin levels, but importantly preventing heart disease.

The University of Maryland Medical Center said, that oils in fat rich fish help in lowering cardiovascular risk brought about by diabetes.
These fish oils known as Omega-3 fatty acids, have been found to lower triglycerides and apoproteins, the markers of diabetes while increasing HDL levels or good cholesterol in the body.
Omega 3 fatty acids can be found predominantly in fishes like salmon, mackerel, tuna, sardines. Knowing the health benefits that these fishes can give and the wonders of those fish oil to diabetic’s well being.
It aims to educate diabetic patients, their families and caregivers on the proper diet to effectively manage the disease, with greater emphasis of the importance of omega 3 fatty acids in helping boost the health of those with diabetes.
