The actress, Lindsay Lohan was discharged last Monday, August 2 after serving 14 days of a 90 day sentence for violating her probation in a 2007 driving case, a Sheriff spokesman said. Lohan is required to begin her 3 month stint in rehabilitation.
Her short stay was not unexpected although it was considerably longer than almost one and a half quarter hours she spent at the same facility in 2007.
During Lohan’s surrender last July 20, the judge stressed that she had no control over how long the actress would be jailed, but did require her to serve her time at a woman’s jail operated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
No comments return from Lohan’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley about the development. Lohan was ordered to report to rehabilitation within a day after discharge from jail.
Inmates like Lohan 24, who are serving for typically non violent offenses have their stays reduced due to overcrowding and credits for good behavior.
