The 29-year-old Grammy awardee singer Beyonce has conveyed through her publicist Yvette Noel-Schure that she and her father only parted ways “on a business level.”
The reason for the split was unknown though, Knowles said the decision was mutual.
“He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” Beyonce said in a statement.
Beyonce’s father has not shown any hurt feelings of the split towards his daughter by stressing that “Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.” he said.
The father has managed her daughter since she made her debut as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child in the late 1990s.
Beyonce was all smiles when she made an appearance at the Macy’s department store to promote her new fragrance Heat in New York last February, 2010.
