Jennifer Lopez was close to tears when contestant Stefano Langone was eliminated from American Idol.
The 41 year old singer appeared to be emotional as the 22 year old contestant rendered a goodbye performance at the end of the show.
J.Lo was not alone who looked sad to see Langone booted out from the singing competition.
Langone fellow contestant James Durbin, was caught on camera holding his head in his hands and was emotional as host Ryan Seacrest read out the results of the public vote.
Durbin and Langone become close friends over their stint in American Idol, then picked up the former after the latter’s final performance of Stevie Wonder classic Lately.
