Scientists from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, were surprised to find using regularly an exercise bike three times a week could have such a potent effect in preventing migraine.
Ginger is known to be a good source of several vitamins and minerals, 100 grams of fresh ginger contains 6 milligrams of vitamin C, 60 milligrams of phosphorus and 20 milligrams of calcium. It is also a good source of the mineral manganese.
Migraine affects around one in six women and one in twelve men, and has been estimated to be the most expensive brain disorder to society in the European Union and the United States.
The causes of migraine is not fully known yet, but experts attributed it to the dilation of blood vessels in the scalp, which stimulate the nerve endings.
